So, this has been long due.
We, at Ambrai thought it was time to connect back with our family, as we call our customers. So we thought let's pen a letter this Women's Day and talk about our journey being women entrepreneurs and what its been like working with a tribe of powerful team members and women artisans.
Our customers who have known us since we started, know us as two girls who look like sisters and have an uncanny hilarious way of speaking in chorus at times. We both have always been the wind beneath each others wings and given each other the support that we needed. This is the backbone of Ambrai.
Even our mothers have been a strong influence. We have grown up knowing their set of friends and relatives who have supported them through thick and thin. Our mothers motivate us to be go-getters without feeling the need to put others down, which is so important as women.
We know how hard it is for women to find a healthy working environment in today's date. We strive to make our office a happier place for work.

The Real Women behind Ambrai are our Women Artisans - Our artisans are skilled rural women who are stepping out of their homes to be a contributing member. Most of them just want to be financially independent and be respected at home. To fight all societal norms, odds and pressures of the rural society, they work day and night to make a place for themselves in the world. The smallest of things put a smile on their faces and we are take great pride in being associated with them.

This Women's Day, we just wanted to put out a Thank You note to all the women in our lives, in the form of this small blog post. We are grateful that our team and our customers are a part of our journey and we wish everyone a very happy Women's Day.
Love,
Vasundhara & Sahira
